Float in a Dark Tank

Yautepec Gallery presents “Float in a Dark Tank”, a group show of paintings by: Keith Boadwee, international artist since the early 90s living and working in Emeryville (California), he produces paintings, drawings and photos that explore his fascination with the body, sex, actionism, humor, and abjection; James Krone, who lives and works in Berlin and has had individual exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe, a painter who produces sculpture, installation, and video as extensions of his primary practice; Morgan Mandalay, living and working in San Diego, whose collage-like paintings often explore the intertwining nature of memories and free association, forcing both high and low influences into a surreal yet compellingly poetic coexistence.
