Jean-Paul Najar Foundation presents a pop-up exhibition for Galleries Night at Alserkal Avenue, to give a taste of its unique collection before the grand opening in March 2016.
The Foundation shows European and American post-minimalist works from the 1960s through the 1990s, including paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures of varying scale, from the intimate to the monumental.
By making its permanent home in Dubai, the Jean-Paul Najar Foundation is honored to connect this seminal period of contemporary art history to the extraordinary energy of such a burgeoning international art destination. The vocation of the JJean-Paul Najar Foundation is didactic, not only to present meaningful exhibitions but also organize through public engagement a forum and debate around abstract art and the Aesthetics of Withdrawal in the contemporary world.
