Júlia Milward: Exercícios para um Estilo

Emma Thomas gallery will be presentingduring with SP-Arte the exhibition “Exercícios para um Estilo” (“Exercises for Style“) a project by the artist Júlia Milward, which is a part of the program Work In Progress: the space is a combination of the studio environment and solo exhibition, the focus here is the development of the creative process and research that starts prior to the realization of a show.

The exhibition “Exercícios para um estilo é” includes works that invokes diverse experiences of time from the reflections of the moment (Still Life), repetition (A palmeira real do jardim de Pamplemousse), the mismatch (Bonjour, au revoir et merci/Em Algum lugar dos Atlas) and duration (A duração é indecisa – título provisório).
