Kathleen Ryan: Seven Sculptures at Sunset

Seven Sculptures at Sunset is the second exhibition presented by American artist Kathleen Ryan at Josh Lilley Gallery, London. The show features sculptures which draw inspiration from the typical iconography of American culture. The works portray elements from hobbies and leisure or from the usual furniture which decorate houses and serve as markers of status. In her practice, the artist investigates as main subjects consumerism and the objects of which people surround themselves in everyday life.

Ryan is participates in Frieze Sculpture 2018 with Josh Lilley in Regents Park, running concurrently with the opening of the exhibition.
