MAC – Mostra de Arte Capixaba

Ran by artist Adriana Xiclet, from Espírito Santo, Casa da Xiclet is an independent art centre that is also her home and artistic residency.

In April, Xiclet organizes a show exhibiting works created by Capixaba artists (that is, native of Espírito Santo) Carol Cuquetto, Rafael Resende, Cacá Miled, Luiz Natal,Didico, Luciano Cardoso, Monica Nitz, Marina Wolff Perin and Fabrício Cerri. Known for humorous exhibition titles that ironically refer to the institutional arts circuit, MAC – Mostra de Arte Capixaba is an allusion to the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo (MAC USP).
