Paola Pivi: I am tired of eating fish

La Rinascente -to renew during Miart, the Art Week, and the Salone del Mobile– calls Paola Pivi to ideate a site-specific project that redesigned the eight windows overlooking Piazza Duomo. The artist reinterprets the historic Milanese landmark with her peculiar irony used to analyzing and experiencing the world.

The installation enters people into the artist’s surreal world where all seems to be upside-down, obliging people wondering about what is possible and what is unreal.
References to art, to design, to lifestyles, to free time, to nature and to
work are inserted in Pivi’s absurd universe, transforming daily life in an hallucinating daydream.
