Personal Structures – Open Borders

Palazzo Bembo, Palazzo Mora and Giardini della Marinaressa, Riva del Carbon 4793; Strada Nuova 3659; Riva dei Sette Martiri

Personal Structures – Open Borders is an exhibition in three venues presented by GAA Foundation, hosted and supported by European Cultural Centre on the occasion of 57th Venice Biennale.

The group show features works by living artists of different age and media that could seem apparently untied but all reflecting about the concepts of Time, Space and Existence. The GAA Foundation’s exhibition shows the commonness and differences between Europeans in dialogue with works of non-Europeans displaying new works made on this occasion or taken from the artists’ recent creations. Certain rooms are devoted to a single artist while others provide a combination of projects and works, every one with a clear statement.

The final goal of this show displaced between Palazzo Bembo, Palazzo Mora and the Giardini della Marinaressa is to increase the visitors’ awareness of their own personal Existence as human beings influenced by a specific Culture within Time and Space.
