“Renzo Piano. Water projects“, curated by Fabrizio Gazzarri, brings together 16 projects chosen by Renzo Piano himself, all conceived in relation to water.
Thanks to the ‘mise-en-scène’, designed and mounted by Studio Azzurro, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a visual and acoustic environment providing an exhilarating tour through the architectural career of Renzo Piano.
The itinerary begins with a project created for the first performance of Luigi Nono’s Prometeo in the church of San Lorenzo in Venice in 1984, for which Emilio Vedova devised the lighting scheme. From Venice the tour continues through Athens, Oslo, London, Genoa, Paris and New York before coming back to Venice and the Vedova Foundation itself.
