Requiem

2018 marks the end of an era. 35 artists of the Atelierhaus Klingental are forced to leave their studios due to renovations in the historical building. After the termination of these works the studios will be assigned anew, now by the Department of Culture Basel-Stadt through an external jury. Thus also the 50 years tradition of self-organisation will end. REQUIEM is dedicated to the abundance of works and stories out of the disappearing studios and merges them to this unique composition.
