Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo presents “High-Rise”, a solo exhibition by the artist Sergio Prego. The show aims to be a plastic reaction to the new architecture of the museum: the entrance hall and the new exhibition space in the city centre. The artist presents a big installation hold up by the air circulating through all its structure, addressing the sculpture as the suspension of an on-going action. The title of the exhibition refers to a J. G. Ballard‘s novel, translated in Spanish as “Rascacielos [Skyscrapers]”, regarding a visionary vertical city.
