Simon Heusser: Paradise Retreat

Simon Heusser creates public retreats as part of his artistic practice. He is interested in the demand for spiritual breaks and resting places in large cities and the wide offer of meditation rooms, seminars and esoteric centres.

On the occasion of Manifesta Parallel Events 2016, he creates a public accessible installation in downtown of Zurich, as a contrast to the business and big city hectic.
The Public Retreat includes a sound installation produced by Bruno Spoerri.
