Urban Intervention Camp

The Biennale Urbana association presents the “Urban Intervention Camp” project, an ensemble of cultural and educational activities within Guglielmo Pepe Barracks, formerly the main defensive structure of the Serenissima, built between 1591 and 1595 at the Lido Venice.

Biennale Urbana invited Lieux Infinis, the exhibition of the French Pavilion for the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale, to build together the ideal conditions to offer a cultural experience unrepeatable. Experience Pepe is an act of research and action carried out by a collective will that is committed to the coexistence of many local and international initiatives, where the presence of the French team allows to experiment on the field proposed for the Architecture Biennale and exhibited within the Pavilion.
