miart 2017: Prizes & Juries

The range of Prizes and Acquisition Funds connected with miart continues to expand. Alongside the familiar contribution of the Giampiero Cantoni Acquisition Fund of Fondazione Fiera Milano and the BeArt Prize for Emergent as well as the Premio Rotary Club Milano Brera and the Herno Prize, this year at its third edition, in collaboration with Herno Spa.
At miart 2017 there will be also three newly conceived prizes: Fidenza Village Prize for Generations, the On Demand Prize and CEDIT Prize for Object.

Fondazione Fiera Milano Acquisition Fund “Giampiero Cantoni”
Acquisition fund for modern and contemporary art works, to build the collection of Fiera Milano Foundation.

Herno Prize
Born to a partnership between miart and Herno Spa, will be assigned to the booth with the best design, conceived and set up in all its details as a true exhibition, and capable of combining high research content, quality and attention to detail in the design of the exhibits.

Fidenza Village Prize for Generations
A newly conceived prize, born to a partnership between miart and Value Retail, will be assigned to the best dialogue within the section Generations.

A newly conceived prize, born to a partnership between miart and the production company Snaporazverein, will be assigned to the best presentation within the section On Demand.
The prize will support a project by the prizeed artist to be realized in the future.

CEDIT Prize for Object
This newly conceived acquisition prize, born to a partnership between miart and CEDIT, will be prizeed to anemerging Italian designer, whose work will be presented within the section Object and that will be donated to the collection of the Triennale Design Museum, Milan.

Rotary Club Milano Brera Prize for Contemporary Art and Young Artists
The IX edition of the prize leads the acquisition of a work by an emerging artist. The work will be donated to a Milanese art institution.
