The Armory Show 2018

The 2018 edition of The Armory Show is opening with a VIP Preview Day on Wednesday, March 7 and is open to the public March 8–11. Featuring 198 galleries from 31 countries, The Armory Show presents artworks that range from historical masterpieces to the latest contemporary projects by established and emerging artists.

The core section of The Armory Show, is Galleries and features outstanding 20th and 21st century artworks presented by leading international galleries.
Insights is dedicated exclusively to 20th century artworks and emphasizes solo-artist, dual-artist and thematic presentations. Presents is a platform for young galleries no more than ten years old to showcase recent work from emerging artists. This year Focus is curated by Gabriel Ritter and showcases a selection of new or rarely seen work by today’s most relevant and compelling artists. Platform, curated by Jen Mergel stages large-scale artworks, installations and commissions across Piers 92 & 94. Now in its second edition, the 2018 Platform section, entitled “The Contingent”, features 15 site-responsive projects by internationally acclaimed artists.
