Brody House

Brody House operates as a quirky boutique hotel with 11 unique and individually designed bedrooms within a neo-classical heritage building in Budapest’s palace quarter.

Each room is unique and named after an eponymous Brody House artist whose works feature in what were often their former studios and features vintage up-cycled furniture, paint stripped walls and contemporary art. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, some even have a free-standing bath in the room for those decadent champagne moments as well as more mundane but practical features such as free WiFi access and air conditioning.

Brody House also has a members’ club with a stylish bar, a block of shabby-chic apartments, and gallery and printing studio Brody ArtYard, in four city-centre locales. The club and ArtYard have calendars crammed full of exhibitions, live music and book readings, and rooms at the hotel are an extension of this creative streak: each is named after the artist whose work hangs on its walls. The communal spaces have high ceilings, lots of natural light and original parquet floors; yet somehow the townhouse still has the air of a private home, and the apartments even more so.
