Adriatico Mar
At Adriatico Mar the protagonist is the Adriatic Sea.
The osteria recreates, in a modern variety, the products, foods, wines, meats, and cheeses that until a few decades ago were everyday staples in Venice. Wine, olives and yogurt from the Aegean, Istrian Malvasia wines from the Venetian hinterland, “Primitivo” from Puglia accompany cheeses from Friuli, Trentino, the Conero riviera, salame from Treviso, Dalmatian fish and sausages and especially fresh vegetables “zero-kilometer” from the islands of the Venetian lagoon. Separate food preparation facilities and dedicated menu options are offered for celiacs.
Francesco Molinari Corner, the owner, comes from an ancient Venetian family dating back to the times of the Serenissima—the Corner family gave more than one “Doge” to the Republic.
