Adriatico Mar

Adriatico Mar is a small wine bar and bacaro in Venice, located in Dorsoduro along a quiet canal. It recreates, in a modern variety, the foods, wines, meats, and cheeses that until a few decades ago were everyday staples in Venice. Wine, olives and yogurt from the Aegean, Istrian Malvasia wines from the Venetian hinterland, “Primitivo” from Puglia accompany cheeses from Friuli, Trentino, the Conero riviera, salame from Treviso, Dalmatian fish and sausages and especially fresh vegetables locally sourced from the islands of the Venetian lagoon. The space is tiny and informal, with a few indoor seats and charming spots by the canal.
