Born in Eensenada, Baja California (Mexico), 1975 and lives in New York City, Ensenada, and Mexico City

Livia Corona Benjiamin’s work, often combining photography, installation, and sculpture, comment on how politics of the material world affect and modify human experience.
She received a BFA from The Art Center in Pasadena, CA, is a 2009 Guggenheim Fellow and a current recipient of an SNCA Endowment for the Arts, granted by Mexico’s Commissions of Arts and Culture.
