Irina Korina was born in Moscow in 1977, and currently lives and works in Moscow, Russia. She was mentioned by the critics as one of the most talented and young artists of Russia. In her artistic production she mainly focuses on sculptures and in particular to site specific installations. Her works have been exposed from Moscow to New York. In 2009 she was selected to represent the Russian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
