Tiphanie Kim Mall

Tiphanie Kim Mall works primarily with video and photography.
Mall develops a fragile editorial language that articulates her observations and perceptions of everyday life. In a recent video Mall follows elderly people in shopping malls; in another silent HD-video work Mall filmed a group of teenage girls practicing a dance routine in a workshop organized by the artist herself. Further works are Strawberries (2013 —2016) which consists of a number of customised screens, each with more than seven hours footage showing strawberry plants in Mall’s own garden over the course of one night.
