Living and working in Tétouan, where he was born in 1975, Younès Rahmoun has graduated at the Institut National des Beaux-Arts of Tétouan. Launched by the curator Jean-Louis Froment, Rahmoun’s work is deeply linked to his religious and spiritual beliefs, marked by a shrouded abstraction revealing his interest in repetition and meditation. Younes Rahmoun’s develops his practice across many mediums, from installation and drawing to new technologies and multimedia, reflecting influences from his own universe, its origins, beliefs and experiences in his creations.
