Curators and Theme of the 12th Gwangju Biennale

Running September 7 – November 11, 2018, the 12th Gwangju Biennale title is “Imagined Borders” a focus which responds to the current times of change and uncertainty. The biennale includes seven exhibitions across the city at the Gwangju Biennale Exhibition Hall, the Asia Culture Center, and other historical sites

The curatorial team includes Clara Kim,  Gridthiya Gaweewong, Rita Gonzalez and Christine Y. Kim, Yeon Shim Chung and Yeewan Koon, Sung woo Kim, Man Seok Kim, and Chong-Ok Paek, B.G. Muhn and David Teh.
