Fishing for Islands

Words by Elena Scarpa
October 27, 2017

Hamburger Bahnhof Berlin and TBA21 present a weekend of performances, installations and panels.

The event, curated by Stefanie Hessler and Markus Reymann, takes its title from a Polynesian creation myth which says that the islands of the archipelago were fished out of the sea.

For the duration of the event installations, performances and interventions will show new perspectives on the traditional and mythological dimensions of the oceans.
