Olafur Eliasson Will be Palace of Versailles Guest Artist in 2016

Olafur Eliasson has annouced with a Tweet he will be the guest artist at the Palace of Versailles from June to November 2016.

President of the Château de Versailles, Catherine Pegard, stated “With Olafur Eliasson, stars collide, the horizon slips away, and our perception blurs. The man who plays with light will make the contours of the Sun-King’s palace dance.”

Previous artists exhibiting include Giuseppe Penone, Xavier Veilhan, Bernar Venet, Jeff Koons, Lee Ufan, Joana Vasconcelos, and Anish Kapoor.
