Palazzo Strozzi to Stage a Major Retrospective of Marina Abramović

After the two major exhibitions dedicated to Ai Weiwei and Bill Viola, Palazzo Strozzi, Florence marks its contemporary program through a retrospective devoted to the work of Marina Abramović, to be hosted from 21 September 2018 to 20 January 2019.

The event will take the shape of an exceptional retrospective – the result of direct involvement on the artist’s part – bringing together over 100 works ranging from the 1970s to the present day, and offering visitors not only an overview of the most famous works that have marked her career and a new live execution of her celebrated performances, but also a chance to discover the lesser-known work dating back to her early years.
