Venice Galleries View: Nine Art Galleries in a Joint Project

A plus A, Alberta Pane, Beatrice Burati Anderson, Caterina Tognon, Ikona, Marignana Arte, Massimodeluca, Michela Rizzo and Victoria Miro: nine contemporary art galleries together in a new collaboration and communication project.

An initiative made up of research galleries in dialogue to enhance and support contemporary art in the Venetian area. The beginning of this collaboration is called Venice Galleries View and takes the form of a series of special events, which each gallery will host during the last opening weekend of the Biennale Arte (24th and 25th November), and the production of a map conceived with the dual function of guiding and informing visitors. In addition to the nine galleries, a series of other selected places of interest are also marked on the map.

The first of the maps, which will be released quarterly – in January, May, September, coinciding with the opening of the new exhibitions – presents an introductory text by Tiziano Scarpa, who recognizes the vital task for the galleries: “to make the present flow, invent it and prefigure the future”.
