Fondazione Berengo Art Space

Founded by Adriano Berengo in 2014, the Foundation was established as a cultural institution to consolidate and strengthen his mission of uniting the Muranese glass-making tradition with contemporary art. It pursues this goal through educational initiatives and an interdisciplinary programme of exhibitions and special projects developed in collaboration with internationally renowned artists, designers, and architects.

In 2016, it sponsored the first retrospective dedicated to the late Dame Zaha Hadid, and in 2018 it collaborated with the artistic duo Penzo+Fiore to present an exhibition series called “Radical”. Today, the Foundation continues to showcase contemporary artists and foster emerging talents, working in synergy with its exhibition venue in Murano, housed within a restored former glass furnace.
