Magasins Généraux

An industrial building from the 1930s located on the banks of the Ourcq Canal in Pantin, the Magasins généraux is a creative centre, founded by BETC, which participates in the energy and emergence of Greater Paris. Initiators of encounters, they bring together several creative actors – residents and guests – who all contribute to the programming.

The Magasins généraux develop new cultural content, without limit of form – cultural seasons, exhibitions, festivals, residencies, meetings, workshops, concerts, publishing objects, off-site programming – with creators from all horizons: artists, architects, designers, musicians, dancers, chefs, etc.Convinced of the synergies to be encouraged between art, society and the economy, the Magasins généraux associate the various residents of the site, brands, media, local actors and partner institutions, through original collaborations.
