Cellar Contemporary

Building on a close connection with the established contemporary art gallery Studio d’Arte Raffaelli, Davide Raffaelli, in collaboration with Camilla Nacci, founded Cellar Contemporary, a new art space dedicated to promoting young visual artists across diverse practices.

Boccanera Gallery was founded in Trento in 2007 as a research space supporting emerging artists in the various languages of contemporary art. In 2016, the Trento gallery relocated to the northern district of the city, occupying a 300 m² industrial space that allows greater freedom for experimental installations, alongside a project room for site-specific works. In the same year, a second venue opened in Milan’s Lambrate district, which was expanded in 2021 to include an additional project room.

Over the past decade, Boccanera Gallery has participated in international fairs and presented both solo and group exhibitions, broadening the generational range of its artists. The gallery collaborates with public institutions, private foundations, and independent curators to support contemporary art and new media.
