BREU
A collective space managed by six artists accommodates their personal ateliers along with shared spaces, dedicated to exchange and projects open to others professionals.
BREU is a space run by six artists and located in a warehouse, in the São Paulo district of Barra Funda. The location is conceived as an “expanded atelier”, a free zone where to experiment and exchange ideas.
As a matter of fact, its activities are divided between the two floors of the building: one is dedicated to the individual studios of the six artists, where they lead their personal research, along with three more temporary ateliers.
The first floor, on the other hand, is a common area where collective projects such as exhibitions, lectures and meetings are organized, with the goal to fill this space, using it for dialogue, experimentation and exchange.
By promoting the rotation and sharing of spaces and ideas, BREU aspires to create new connections, within a network that involve also the professionals of culture working along the established institutions.
