Founded in 2005, thejamjar is a community art space in Alserkal Avenue promoting creative learning through an extensive programme of educational initiatives and projects including weekly workshops, camps and tutorials for adults and children.

Throughout 2022, thejamjar at Alserkal Avenue will offer weekly workshops for adults, children and toddlers including multimedia explorations on canvas, developing painting skills in watercolour and acrylics as well as meditative art workshops like Transcendent Healing.
Until 31 March at Expo2020 grounds, thejamjar’s ‘Hammour House’ exhibition showcases three installations inspired by mother nature, bringing together fishermen, scientists, artists, school students in a number of interactive projects and workshops.
