Adalberto Abbate, artist born in Palermo in 1975, opens the doors to his studio in Piazza della Rivoluzione.
Adalberto Abbate’s work takes on a social and anthropological standpoint. A study into the complex mechanism of memory. Each project is an investigation into historical events and media phenomena, questioning our contemporary experience.
Since 1998 he has exhibited in several international contemporary art centres such as Musée historique et des porcelaines de Nyon; Mart Museum, Rovereto; Museum of Contemporary Art Rice, Palermo; Museum für Kommunikation, Bern; Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation, Milan; Ausstellungsraum Klingental, Basel; GAM, Palermo; VAF-Stiftung, Frankfurt; Center Pompidou, Paris.
