Dionea Studio

A House/ a Workshop /an Exhibition site/ a place to explore contemporary art in the city. Expat in Palermo for the whole 2019 Edoardo Dionea Cicconi turned into a residency an ancient Palazzo with frescoes on the ceiling for his site specific project. Till December 2019 his last work Fragments introduces a reflection upon the suspension of thought and linear perception. Conceived to lead us to an entrance door on the 1st floor, beyond which you can experience a lack of any spatial reference, a rope guides you to the main hall, while you hear obscure noises, electromagnetic vibrations from outer space recorded by NASA.
