Ignazio Mortellaro Studio

The artist Ignazio Mortellaro (Palermo, 1978) lives and works in Palermo, where he trained as an architect and engineer. His artistic research combines different inputs from science, philosophy, music, and literature, expressing the entangled relationship between man and nature through a wide range of media (sculpture, drawing, photography, video, and installation).

His stunning studio is rife with not only his works of art but with a collection of technical tools of measurement such as geographical and astronomical maps, pendulums, geometric figures, and compasses.
