Cango

Founded in 2003, Cango is a space for research, transmission/teaching, residencies and vision, divided into three spaces with different formats designed for dance. Guest choreographers develop their own creations, and are also invited to develop new creation processes in collaboration with the Academy of the art of the gesture. Cango proposes an annual programme of projects that relate to a geography of places in the city, and that dialogue with other arts. Since 2015, it has been the headquarter of the Centro nazionale di produzione directed by Virgilio Sieni and managed by Daniela Giuliano.
