Murate Art District – MAD is a cultural district, a space of creation and residence dedicated to contemporary artistic languages with a transdisciplinary approach, open to artists of all ages and backgrounds. Located in the former convent of the Murate (then city’s prison) MAD inherits the memory of the monumental complex and reactivates it thanks to the presence of the artists who inhabit it daily, making it a place of freedom and research.
