Giopato & Coombes

Giopato & Coombes is a lighting design studio founded in 2006 by Cristiana Giopato and Christopher Coombes. Since 2014, the studio has focused exclusively on lighting design, aiming to create light sources that evoke emotions and sensations in space. Their vision is to craft a “Supernatural Daydream,” a light that transcends the ordinary and connects with the unreal.

Located in the heart of Milan, just steps from the Duomo, Giopato & Coombes’ permanent exhibition space serves as a showcase for their projects. Through site-specific installations and exhibitions, the studio brings creativity to the forefront, using architectural language, immersive atmospheres, and experimental design to express their unique identity as independent designers.
