A contemporary private members' club for the art of extraordinary experiences.
Via dei Giardini 16, 20121 Milan, Italy
True to the city’s understated elegance, The Wilde is tucked away behind a modest iron gate on Via dei Giardini, a leafy and prestigious address just steps from Via Montenapoleone. Housed in the historic Villa del Platano, originally built in 1954 and once the residence of Santo Versace, The Wilde exudes a refined charm that blends Milanese sophistication with a distinctly international allure. Drawing members from the worlds of art, fashion, design, finance, and high society, The Wilde reflects Milan’s growing prominence as a hub of culture, gastronomy, and style.
Architect Fabrizio Casiraghi, known for his work on Milan’s chic Sant’Ambroeus café, approached the club’s design as if it were a grand Milanese family residence. Spanning four floors and crowned by a rooftop overlooking the lush gardens of Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda, The Wilde is a harmonious blend of heritage and contemporary luxury. Casiraghi’s aesthetic—a balance of clean, understated elegance with subtle Art Deco influences—draws inspiration from the iconic Villa Necchi Campiglio. The Wilde pays homage to Milan’s rich tradition of craftsmanship with custom-designed textiles by Idarica Gazzoni Frascara, hand-painted murals by Assia Pallavicino, and exquisite tableware from Laboratorio Paravicini. Art is an integral part of the club’s identity, with carefully curated pieces from Ed Tang’s Art Bureau enriching the space.
The Wilde offers its members a curated selection of dining experiences, from Mediterranean classics to Japanese and Latin American specialties. Private dining rooms, cultural salons, and live performance spaces complete the club’s sophisticated offering.
