Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro

The Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro was founded in accordance with Arnaldo Pomodoro’s vision of creating a space open to reinterpreting 20th-century art and fostering the creativity of young artists. It serves as a collective and dynamic environment, aiming for deep and meaningful engagement with people and society.

Originally established with a core collection of 28 works donated by the artist, the Collection now includes over 200 pieces by Arnaldo Pomodoro.

Founded in 1995, the foundation’s mission is to ensure the proper conservation and documentation of his works while promoting research and discussion on key themes and figures of the contemporary avant-garde. Over more than twenty years, the foundation has evolved, adapting its exhibition spaces as needed. Since 2013, it has been based at Via Vigevano 9, adjacent to the sculptor’s Studio and Archive.
