The Foundation is based in the monumental complex of the former Benedictine monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore.

The Fondazione Giorgio Cini is based in the monumental complex of the former Benedictine monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore, known for Palladian cloister, the Longhena library and Verde theatre.

The island is located right opposite Piazza San Marco and only a vaporetto stop away from there.
