421 is an arts and design centre in Abu Dhabi dedicated to nurturing and showcasing creative work from local, regional, and international artists. Housed in converted industrial warehouses, it presents exhibitions, performances, and design projects, offering insight into artistic processes and techniques. Its programme includes learning initiatives, research, and commissions to support the UAE’s creative ecosystem. Following a temporary closure during the Covid-19 pandemic, 421 has begun renovations, adding three new studios, a redesigned shop, and a library nook.
