The Future Gallery is an art space based in Berlin and a platform for showcasing future oriented work. Future Gallery began operating from a 4th floor Hinterhof apartment in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The name was chosen not due to the forward thinking approaches of the work it exhibited, but rather as an imminent calling for a future gallery space.
Since its inception, the goal of the gallery has been to promote and foster artistic positions that express through their work their contemporary moment. This moment has been, of course, informed by emerging technologies, the internet, and social network culture.
