Formerly Oltredimore, Gallleriapiù by Veronica Veronesi has over time taken a radical turn towards experimental forms of art and concepts relating to the theme of art itself or to social issues. One of the topics often addressed, for example, is food, explored through eating design or in projects such as “Bologna is not restaurant” by the Russian artist Gluklya, a peaceful march through the city that concluded with a “hunger strike” at a restaurant. Here, languages intersect and contaminate one another and, alongside exhibitions, live events are also featured. Chief among these is the Giardino Magntico format, which has brought some of the most interesting live music performances of recent years into the gallery’s spaces.
