Galleria Doris Ghetta

Galleria Doris Ghetta, established in 2014, is located in Val Gardena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and serves as a centre for contemporary art. The gallery explores new humanism through reflections on the relationship between people and nature, focusing on community, environmental balance, and an evolving dialogue between art, culture, and human experience.

The project space Garasc supports emerging artists, promoting experimentation and site-specific works that integrate with the gallery’s wider environment. Through initiatives such as the Biennale Gherdëina, founded by Doris Ghetta in 2008, Val Gardena functions as a space where artists and audiences engage quietly with nature and cultural heritage.

The gallery’s vision emphasises the transformative potential of art to foster sustainable practices and to cultivate a harmonious relationship between humanity and the natural world.
