Founded in London in 2003 and in Paris in 2007, Campoli Presti — formerly known as Sutton Lane— represents artists that question art from a theoretical but also object-oriented, context-specific standpoint.
From the start the focus was to promote and establish artists unknown in Europe and the UK and to open a dialogue with museums and institutions with whom the gallery collaborates regularly.
Periodically, the gallery organises exhibitions of historical figures who serve as critical references for contemporary practitioners.
