Galería Cayón
Opened in December 2005 by Adolfo Cayón, the gallery aims to be an international space for art and artists, emphasizing on spacial relationships in art. To this purpose stands out the collaboration, representation and presence of minimal, conceptual and neo-conceptual artists.
Founded in December 2005 by Adolfo Cayón, Galería Cayón inaugurates with the exhibition “Picasso. Monotypes and Printmakings from the 20s, 30s and 40s”, revealing since the very beginning its international vocation as a space opened to new and unusual art. Having exhibited renowned artists as Josef Albers, Robert Rauschenberg and Andy Warhol, the gallery’s cornerstone is the investigation about the space, collaborating with Carl Andre, Fred Sandback and David Rabinowitch. In September 2013 Galería Cayón inaugurates a second space in Calle Blanca de Navarra 7, named “espacio en blanca”, followed by another opening in April 2016 in Calle Blanca de Navarra 9.
