Opening her first gallery in Murcia in 1977, eleven years after Nieves Fernández inaugurates a new space in Madrid, becoming one of the most important galleries of the city. Dealing mostly with paintings, Nieves Fernández works with artists as Eduardo Chillida, Arnulf Rainer, Antoni Tàpies, Jordi Teixidor and Jannis Kounellis. Recently the gallery started a complete renovation, promoting emerging artists and directing its attention to other medium as photography, installation and performance.
