Galería Ethra
This space was established in 2008 in Mexico City. Its main goal is to promote both established artists and young talents who demonstrate strength in their work.
Galería Ethra was founded in 2008 with the aim of becoming a space that combined the promotion of visual arts with commercial mediation. After several years of work, the gallery continues to emphasise its commitment to contemporary art and, in particular, to the Mexican art scene.
The annual exhibition programme focuses on promoting the work of the artists the gallery collaborates with, including mid-career and established artists, both national and international. Ethra also maintains a policy of fostering art collecting in Mexico through ongoing advisory services.
For several years, the gallery was located in an early 20th-century house in the Juárez neighbourhood. However, on its 10th anniversary, Ethra moved to an industrial space whose dimensions allow for the display of large-scale works.
