Galería Furiosa

Galería Furiosa opened in April 2021 with a “neighbourhood gallery” concept. Its aim is to engage young people in Mexico City with the art world, encouraging new collectors by creating an accessible and welcoming environment. The gallery’s main space opens directly onto Durango, one of the most notable avenues in the Roma neighbourhood. The two founders are frequently present to interact with visitors, maintaining a casual atmosphere while focusing on showcasing high-quality artists and curatorial projects.

The name Furiosa reflects the gallery’s aesthetic approach: art that is visually striking and does not rely heavily on museography or detailed explanations. It represents a contemporary visual language rooted in Mexico City’s creative scene with influences from global counterculture.

The gallery’s exhibitions result from an experimental and collaborative process that begins in the studio, aligning with its ethos of supporting the artist’s creative development.
