RGR has become a driving force and a key reference in Mexico City, blending modern and contemporary global art. The gallery began its operations in 2018, showcasing renowned masters of abstraction, Op-Art, and Kinetic Art. In the past year, RGR has expanded its programme to include a significant group of contemporary artists who critically engage with issues of colonialism, race, gender, and sexuality by revisiting modern art trends.

The gallery currently represents four estates and the works of fourteen artists, each with distinct research approaches, processes, and genres, addressing the challenges of the millennium through their creative insight. RGR fosters dialogue around the legacy of 20th-century historical avant-gardes and the most innovative multidisciplinary art expressions of the present. The gallery hosted the first Latin American solo exhibitions for Jeppe Hein in 2021, Ding Yi in 2022, and Mathias Bitzer in 2023.
